The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Inverleigh, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed first, Mofakker, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed fourth and Woody Creek (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fourth, where it appeared Woody Creek met with interference causing her to clip a heel and stumble

Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference was accidental in nature, therefore made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action

C.D. Hayes, rider of Woody Creek (GB) trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount met with interference.
