There appeared to be interference between the winner, Gamgoom (GB), ridden by Hayley Turner, and Fizzy Feet (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Hollie Doyle.
The riders were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident after which it was found that no interference had taken place.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong, when the winner, Gamgoom (GB), ridden by Hayley Turner, interfered with Mohareb (GB), placed third, ridden by Alistair Rawlinson, who in turn interfered with Rock On Baileys (GB), placed second, ridden by Lewis Edmunds.
Turner was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as she allowed her mount to drift left-handed when insufficiently clear causing Rawlinson to become tight for room and stumble, shifting Edmunds slightly off his intended line.
Following the race, Alistair Rawlinson reported that Mohareb (GB), placed third, was denied a clear run, Nicola Currie reported that Commander Han (FR), unplaced, was slowly away and the Veterinary Officer reported that Fizzy Feet (IRE), unplaced, lost its left fore shoe.
