An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race following interference on the run to the line when the winner, Sterling Stamp (IRE), ridden by Rossa Ryan, interfered with Broughtons Gold (GB), placed second, ridden by Hayley Turner.

The Stewards considered that the interference had improved the placing of Sterling Stamp (IRE) as in shifting left-handed it had given Broughtons Gold (GB) enough of a bump to cause him to lose momentum at the point where he was making his run on the outside, with only a nose between the two horses at the line.

The placings were revised as follows: First, Broughtons Gold (GB), second, Sterling Stamp (IRE).

Ryan was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to hang left-handed into the whip without sufficient correction.
