Permission was given for Moyet (IRE) and Guns And Flowers (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The Veterinary Officer reported that upon inspection, Havana Prince (GB) was grey and not bay as published in the racecard.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend involving Pretence (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Harry Davies, the winner, Making Dreams (IRE), ridden by Brandon Wilkie, Commander Crouch (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by William Buick, Guns And Flowers (IRE), placed second, ridden by Kieran O’Neill and Jakima (GB), placed third, ridden by David Probert.
The interference was found to be accidental as Commander Crouch (IRE), Pretence (IRE) and Jakima (GB) were all racing tightly and had made light contact with each other prior to Commander Crouch (IRE) taking a strong hold of its rider and shifting left-handed away from Guns And Flowers (IRE), which was going forward from stall 7 and resulted in Pretence (IRE) being crowded onto Jakima (GB) which was moved onto the rail and hampered Making Dreams (IRE), before Commander Crouch (IRE) then continued to race ungenerously and had to be checked for several strides after becoming awkwardly placed close to the heels of Guns And Flowers (IRE) which had edged slightly left-handed rounding the bend.
Following the race, Harry Davies reported that Pretence (IRE), placed fifth, hung right-handed and Kieran Shoemark reported that Moyet (IRE), placed seventh, jumped awkwardly from the stalls and hung slightly left-handed.
