An enquiry was held to consider interference 1 ½ furlongs out, involving Sea Grey (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Charlie Maggs and Swordstick (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Jason Hart.
Maggs was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he angled for a gap on the rail that was not wide enough, turning the hind quarters of Swordstick (IRE) resulting in the gelding becoming unbalanced for several strides.
