He’d a very heavy fall in Listowel and it took him a long time to recover. We felt he was getting there of late. He would be ground dependant as well, so it’s not too heavy. He’ll probably go to Fairyhouse and Punchestown and we’ll keep him going for the summer.

Owing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fence number two to be omitted from this race The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Seamus Neville, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Brideswell Lad, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Seamus Neville stated that better ground today coupled with a return to a track where he has previously run well had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form.
