It has been a credit to everyone to keep the show on the road today and that's his ground as he suffers with his knees. He's not qualified for Cheltenham and could run in the Tetratema next and then the Joseph O'Reilly Chase so we'll keep him on the home-front this season. Things were a bit messy early on in the race today but it was grand to win another one with him and it's great to have Nina back riding over fences too. Ground might be an issue with him going back to Aintree as that's his ground and we'd like to have him around for another couple of years.

The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P.L. Malone, that Mr. D.P. Murphy, rider of Tj Goodtymes, would be carrying 8lbs overweight in addition to the 2lbs overweight which was declared at declaration time. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who explained the circumstances surrounding the overweight and apologised for this. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Rule 198(vii) and having considered his record, issued a fine of ?150. Furthermore, the Stewards refused to allow the overweight and granted a request for Mr. E. Dwan to replace the nominated rider
