His work was always good but I wasn't sure about running him as he was very weak,. We decided to run and come to Navan as it would give him a nice experience and we could build for the season from here. We always thought he had ability. He's on the team for Ascot. Gary said he's still weak but it's a nice option to have. He handled that ground well. Gary was lucky not to get unseated going down as he jammed on at the ponies (giving rides to kids). He's still very very green and there should be masses of improvement. It bodes well for what we have at home. G M Lyons, trainer
