They went no gallop and he was in the right spot at the right time,. He'll probably stay a mile, he has three races won now so his owner will be very happy. He was trying to sell him but there was no-one to buy him but he has won three for him now so it's all good. We'll keep tipping away with him.

The Stewards interviewed N.M. Crosse, rider of No Patience, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he had used his whip with excessive frequency. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that N.M. Crosse was in breach of Regulation 10.3 g (excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard suspended him for 2 racedays
C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Ablah (USA) trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was very slowly into stride
