The winner Big Bard (GB), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Chelmsford on 16th September 2021 where the gelding finished seventh of thirteen runners beaten 12 ½ lengths.
Gary Moore’s representative explanation that Big Bard (GB) was suited to more positive tactics and the drop back to 6 furlongs on this occasion was noted.
