it was a good workmanlike performance and he's a gorgeous big colt. He's having a real serious blow there and there is lots of improvement in him. He was a big late maturing horse and his dam (Group 2 winner Starformer) was a good mile-and-a-quarter filly and there is plenty of stamina in the pedigree. He'll be a lovely horse for a mile or a mile-and-a-quarter next year, is a horse we like an awful lot and he has potentially a big future. The Stewards interviewed Kieran Murphy, authorised representative of A.P.O'Brien, trainer of Aircraft Carrier and Full Moon regarding the late arrival into the Parade Ring of both horses which contributed to a three minute delay to the start of this race. Evidence was heard from Kieran Murphy who stated that it was his responsibility to saddle A.P. O'Brien's three runners in this race and in his opinion having also had charge of A.P. O'Brien's winner of the previous race which had started one minute late he acted in the fastest way possible to ensure that their charges were saddled as required and also had to apply a tongue strap to Full Moon. He added that their third runner Conclusion (JPN) was saddled first and had proceeded to the parade ring immediately. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards accepted the explanation presented and took no further action. The Stewards received a report from Mrs John Harrington, trainer of Still Standing, that her charge was delayed in his arrival into the parade ring as he had spread a plate between the stable yard and the saddling stalls which required the services of a farrier. She added that this procedure contributed to an unavoidable delay as both of her runners in this race had been saddled promptly. Having considered the report, the Stewards were satisfied that the delay was caused by a genuine mishap and took no further action.
