Angel Bleu (FR) wore earplugs which were removed at the start.
Permission was given for Epictetus (IRE) and Holguin (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Approaching 2 furlongs out, the winner, Angel Bleu (FR), shifted slightly right-handed causing Galeron (IRE), unplaced, and Charyn (IRE), placed third, to bump and become unbalanced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Angel Bleu (FR).
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final furlong when the winner, Angel Bleu (FR), ridden by Hector Crouch, interfered with Epictetus (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Kieran Shoemark.
Crouch was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift left-handed when insufficiently clear causing Shoemark to become short for room.
Following the race, David Egan reported that Charyn (IRE), placed third, was slowly away and Kieran Shoemark reported that Epictetus (IRE), placed fifth, was unsuited by the Going, which was officially described as Soft and would prefer a quicker surface.
