She's a grand honest mare that stays. She definitely got impeded and it's unfortunate for the connections of the second. We got a bit of luck today but they are two nice horses. The Stewards enquired into possible interference between the last two hurdles involving Ex Patriot, ridden by D.N. Russell, placed first and Dinaria Des Obeaux (FR), ridden by B.J. Cooper, placed second, where it appeared that Dinaria Des Obeaux (FR) was left short of room on the inside of Ex Patriot and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that interference had taken place and on the balance of probabilities that Ex Patriot had improved his placing over Dinaria Des Obeaux (FR) and consequently ordered that the placings be reversed with the result now to read; First - Dinaria Des Obeaux (FR), Second - Ex Patriot, Third - Landofhopeandglory, Fourth - Mengli Khan, Fifth - Sword Fighter and Sixth - Amaulino (FR). The Stewards did not take any further action.
