That's brilliant. I'm delighted for his owners who are from Oranmore. He is a tough horse and his only going to get better. He will mix it between hurdles and fences now. He had a good handicap mark which I had nothing to do with, thanks go to Val O'Brien (former trainer of the winner) in Galway for that. I only have a small team of horses but they are health and well. He is a good fun horse and Harley said that he will stay further than two miles. The ground made it a good test. Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap to carry 6lb extra for each hurdle race won.
Riders - Confined to Professional under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (iii). Allowances (which are not cumulative, up to and including 19th September) who have not ridden the winner of a *race allowed 4lb Those who have not ridden the winners of 5 *races allowed 2lb No allowance to riders under Rule 52 (iii) may be claimed.
