Following the race, Michael Nolan reported that Gosheven (IRE), which was pulled up, made a bad mistake at the second fence and then lost its confidence and the Veterinary Officer reported that the gelding had a light bruise on its left fore.
Lucy Gardner reported that Tea Time On Mars (GB), which was pulled up, ran flat and hung right-handed and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Samuel Jackson (GB), placed fourth, had suffered an overreach on its left fore.
