The performance of Sunday Justice (IRE), which started favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.
The explanation from the representative of David Barron that the gelding ran flat was noted.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination, during routine testing of Sunday Justice (IRE), failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Leaving the stalls, Better Half (GB), placed second, jumped right-handed giving a small bump to Sunday Justice (IRE), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved, and it had not improved the placing of Better Half (GB).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Crocodile Tears (GB), placed fourth, finished lame on its left fore.
