Permission was given for Rita Rana (IRE) to go early to post.
An enquiry was held to consider three incidents of interference inside the final furlong involving Janus (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Connor Planus, LIBRETTA, placed fifth, ridden by Rhys Clutterbuck, the winner, Wannabe Betsy (IRE), ridden by Stefano Cherchi, Cavendish (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Franny Norton, All About Alice (IRE), placed third, ridden by Eoin Walsh, and Captain Howse (IRE), placed second, ridden by Luke Morris.
Cherchi was suspended for 3 days for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift left-handed without correction, taking All About Alice (IRE) off its intended line which caused Norton to take a check and switch his mount right-handed, and left Janus (IRE) short of room against LIBRETTA on its inside.
The interference was compounded by Captain Howse (IRE), lugging right-handed before being quickly corrected by Morris, causing LIBRETTA to be shifted right-handed onto Janus (IRE) leaving the gelding short of room in between runners; the Stewards found this part of the interference to be accidental.
In addition, in the final few strides before the line, Wannabe Betsy (IRE), lugged left-handed before being corrected by Cherchi, the Stewards further found this interference to be accidental.
