Permission was given for Hot Fuss (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after leaving the stalls, involving Cool Dividend (IRE), placed second, ridden by John Fahy; HEAD’S GONE PAL, unplaced, ridden by William Carson and Travolta (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Luke Morris.
Fahy was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed without sufficient correction causing Travolta (GB) to be taken off its intended line, which in turn hampered HEAD’S GONE PAL.
Leaving the stalls, Travolta (GB), placed fourth, jumped left-handed giving Mafnood (GB), placed third, a bump.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
