An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving Buttercross Flyer (IRE), unplaced, ridden by William Pyle, Korroor (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Tom Kiely-Marshall, the winner Princess Alex (GB), ridden by Clifford Lee, and Kindest Nation (IRE), placed third, ridden by Paul Mulrennan.
Mulrennan was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift right- handed when insufficiently clear of the free running Korroor (IRE), which was moved off its intended line, and as a result caused the rider of Buttercross Flyer (IRE) to take a precautionary check.
Following the race, William Pyle reported that Buttercross Flyer (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference shortly after the start.
