Approaching the final 3 furlongs, a free running Mintana (GB), placed fourth, shifted left-handed onto Ok Pal (GB), unplaced, who in turn was moved onto Lukla (GB), unplaced, who also shifted onto the winner, Harry With Style (GB), as a result, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Mintana (GB).

Following the race, Dougie Costello reported that Ok Pal (GB), unplaced, was never travelling; Tony Carroll added that the gelding was slowly away; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Ok Pal (GB) found it to be lame on its right-fore, William Cox reported that Ma Famille (IRE), unplaced, stopped quickly; The representative of Clive Cox reported that the filly was unsuited by the going which was officially described as Soft, Good to Soft (In places) and would prefer a quicker surface the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Ma Famille (IRE) failed to reveal any abnormalities and Billy Garritty reported that Wrenegade Lad (IRE), unplaced, had no more to give; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.

An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 ½ furlongs out involving SOWS (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Trevor Whelan, SHOW COMPASSION, unplaced, ridden by Hector Crouch, MARY OF MODENA, unplaced, ridden by Paddy Bradley and UN BACIO ANCORA (IRE), placed second, ridden by Callum Hutchinson.

Hutchinson was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to switch right-handed when insufficiently clear, causing interference to the three horses on his outside.

Following the race, William Cox reported that ALASKAN JEWEL (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away, Saffie Osborne reported that RHUBARB, unplaced, was denied a clear run, Richard Kingscote reported that ENRAGED, unplaced, was denied a clear run approximately 2 furlongs out, Paddy Bradley reported that MARY OF MODENA, unplaced, suffered interference approximately 1 ½ furlong out and Gina Mangan reported that BLUEBELL TIME (IRE), unplaced, was outpaced.

The Veterinary Officer reported that FRISKY, unplaced, bled from the nose.
