It was noted that Tyler Heard, the rider of Glamorous Crescent (GB), drawn 3, was slow to remove the blindfold.
Being satisfied that this was due to the mare putting its head down as the stalls opened and Heard had been able to remove the blindfold on a second attempt shortly thereafter, no further action was taken.
Inside the final furlong, Rainbow Mirage (GB), placed second, lugged left-handed, carrying the winner, Tawaafoq (GB), off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Cameron Noble reported that Vape (GB), placed sixth, reared in the stalls.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Hooray Henry (GB), unplaced, had bled from the nose.
