Inside the final furlong, Surf Dancer (IRE), placed fifth, was left momentarily short of room when Mr Kiki (IRE), placed fourth, shifted left-handed at the same time as Molatham (GB), placed second, edged right- handed.

After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of any horse.

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race following interference approximately half a furlong out when the winner, Mums Tipple (IRE), ridden by Oisin Murphy, interfered with Man Of Promise (USA), placed third, ridden by James Doyle.

The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved the placing of Mums Tipple (IRE) as Man Of Promise (USA) was taken only marginally off its intended line and lost little momentum, with a neck back to second and a further neck back to Man Of Promise (USA).

Murphy was cautioned for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift left-handed without sufficient correction, causing Doyle to take a slight check and taking Man Of Promise (USA) slightly off its intended line.

Following the race, James Doyle reported that Man Of Promise (USA), placed third, suffered interference inside the final half furlong, Callum Shepherd reported that Mr Kiki (IRE), placed fourth, jumped awkwardly from the stalls, and Oisin Murphy reported that the winner, Mums Tipple (IRE), hung left-handed under pressure.
