Just inside the 1 furlong marker, Devilwala (IRE), unplaced, hung slightly right-handed impeding Roach Power (IRE), unplaced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching ½ a furlong out involving Garrick Street (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by David Probert, the winner, Spioradalta (GB), ridden by Jack Garritty, Star Player (GB), placed seventh, ridden by Jack Mitchell and Legal Reform (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Kieran O’Neill.
The interference was found to be accidental as Legal Reform (IRE) lugged right- handed despite O'Neill's efforts, badly hampering Star Player (GB), which also resulted in Spioradalta (GB) moving right-handed away from the interference to its inside and into the path of Garrick Street (IRE) which became unbalanced after receiving a heavy bump.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line involving Garrick Street (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by David Probert and Devasboy (GB), placed third, ridden by Sean Dylan Bowen.
Owen Lewis, the rider of Mabre (IRE), placed second, was also present in the enquiry, but was found to have no involvement in the interference.
As 7lb claiming apprentices, both Lewis and Bowen were offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
Bowen was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift right-handed without correction intimidating Garrick Street (IRE) off its intended line, before causing Probert to take a check when forced onto the heels of Mabre (IRE).
Following the race, Kieran O'Neill reported that Legal Reform (IRE), placed fifth, hung right-handed in the straight.
