He’s a lovely big baby and it was only his fourth run over obstacles so I was a bit nervous as to whether he’d be street wise enough to go on and make it. He jumped into the air a bit early on but got the hang of it as he went along. An extra half-mile might suit. He has such a big stride and kind of has to make the running. That’s his way of being competitive is to go out and gallop. He’ll improve mentally as much as anything. Liz Doyle, trainer

Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that D. Meyler was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration, the Stewards cautioned D. Meyler on this occasion
