Permission was given for Epic Pass (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and go to post early.
Half a furlong out, Bug Boy (IRE), placed second, shifted quickly right from the whip giving a slight bump to Rafiot (USA), placed fourth.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Bug Boy (IRE).
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final ½ furlong when the winner Genesius (IRE), ridden by Morgan Cole, interfered with Zuba (GB), placed third, ridden by Laura Pearson, and Epic Pass (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Jane Elliott.
Cole was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as she had failed to take sufficient steps to prevent her mount from drifting right, moving GENESUIS (IRE) and Epic Pass (IRE) off their intended lines.
Following the race, Georgia Cox reported that Jazz Party (GB), unplaced, hung left and moved poorly throughout.
Katherine Begley reported that Frozen Waters (IRE), placed seventh, jumped awkwardly out the stalls and was slowly into stride.
