The Raceday Stewards received a report from Mr Andrew Tyrrell, IHRB Veterinary Officer, in relation to the identification details of The Mighty One, trained by Luke Comer, which stated that this animal was a gelding which on examination was noted to be a colt. James Gorman, Authorised representative of Luke Comer, stated that he was unable to explain what had caused this error without firstly reverting to his racing office. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Luke Comer was in breach of Rule 148 and fined him €130
J.A. Powell, rider of Letiza, trained by John James Feane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the starting stalls.
