She's surprised us all by coming here with a rise in the handicap (up 15lb) to do it again. I thought she would be 7 or 8/1 but they backed her into 2/1. I'm delighted with her. When you have only one you have to mind them. It may be a bit different if you had 20 horses. It's great to come back and do it again but I suppose it will be tougher the next time. The plan is to breed off her, so the better she gets the better it will be for that job. M J Tynan, trainer

The Stewards enquired into an incident after the entrance into the straight involving Califante (GB), ridden by Katherine S. O'Brien, placed second and Mountain Coral, ridden by J.P. O'Brien, placed fourth. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Katherine S. O'Brien had made a manoeuvre which contributed to the incident and consequently cautioned her to ride with more care. .
