The Guinness Galway Hurdle is the undoubted highlight on day four of the Galway Festival and sees Tony Martin bidding for a hat-trick of successes in the valuable handicap.
Martin has won the last two with Thomas Edison and Quick Jack, and the latter heads a trio of runners for the County Meath handler, with Ted Veale and Pyromaniac giving him a strong hand.
Willie Mullins runs top weight Bamako Moriviere and Clondaw Warrior, with Ruby Walsh aboard the latter, while Gordon Elliott has Tempo Mac and The Plan Man, as well as two reserves in Desoto County and Desertmore Stream.
Elliott will be hoping Roll It Out can build on a promising second over fences last time in the opening Guinness Dublin Porter Beginners Chase at 1.50.
However, Henry De Bromhead's recent Tipperary hurdle winner Marinero has plenty of experience over fences and Mullins gives Daisy's Gift another try over fences after she fell when in contention last time.
Elliott's former Triumph Hurdle winner Tiger Roll is already a dual winner over fences and bids to extend that winning record in the Guinness Harp Novice Chase.
Hurricane Ben is a triple winner over the larger obstacles, though, so may take some stopping, while Elliott also saddles Kilbeggan scorer Cecil Corbett in a competitive heat.
Dermot Weld runs Silver Concorde in the big hurdle race and also gives Emergent another try in Listed company in the Arthur Guinness EBF Corrib Fillies Stakes.
She has a fair bit to find on official figures with Adrian Keatley's recent acquisition Mothers Finest, while Planchart and Rayisa are three-year-olds to note.
Brian Ellison will be hoping Dream Walker can complete a hat-trick in the Hop House 13 Handicap, though Pat Twomey will be hoping for the same from Ruler Of France, while the Guinness Foals Handicap sees Camlann and Tara Dylan bid to follow up recent successes.
