Ruby Walsh was at his patient best as he produced Jubilant Note to perfection in the feature Water Towers Chase at Ballinrobe.
Held up, the 5-4 favourite moved quietly into contention and jumped the last in front.
Mick Murphy's seven-year-old soon asserted and was not hard pressed to beat Barna Bay by two and a half lengths.
Murphy said: "He was well-in at these weights, but we were worried about the ground.
