Universe looks bright prospect
Hidden Universe looked a name to follow when making a winning debut in the bumper at Leopardstown.
Robbie McNamara 's mount cruised into the lead early in the straight and he was pushed out in the final furlong to score by 10-lengths from Timesawastin
It was a quick-fire double for trainer Dermot Weld and owner Dr Ronan Lambe following the victory of Prince Erik in the preceding contest.
"I think there is a winners' race for him back here in a few weeks," said Weld.
"We've also got Elegant Concorde who is an extremely good young horse, as is this fellow.
"Let's see how he gets on next time. They wouldn't both go for the Cheltenham bumper.
"I was a little bit careful with him over the bad weather and fitness was my only concern but he is very talented.
"He's a very decent young horse and will make a nice dual purpose performer. He will be a lovely horse for the Flat in the summer as well."
