Following his second win, Hughes reported “The Rall is an out and out staying chaser and likes good or quick ground - the ground was even a little dead for him there.”

He added “The Rall had a good debut chase run at Kilbeggan and just got tired from the second last before finishing fourth. He was always going to improve from the run and we'll see what the handicapper does now.”
