The Johnny Murtagh-trained Tanazadia gained a deserved victory, after a run of placed efforts, with a fine front-running performance in the nine-furlong maiden at Gowran.
Colin Keane bounced out in front on the 11/10 favourite, in a race confined to horses rated 70 or less, and she made the best of her way home in the straight.
Chief rival Castanets came stand's side but couldn't match the winner in the closing stages as she galloped on strongly for a five-and-a-half length win.
Keane said:- “The last day she pinged the gates and I regretted taking her back as we went steady and it turned into a bit of a dash.
“For as well as she travels she more so lengthens and gallops rather than quickens. We had good draw today and unless something really wanted to go we were going to take full use of our draw.
“She's not the biggest in the world but she's very hardy and genuine and wants to please you. That's a good trip for her and I'd say she's versatile ground-wise.
“She could be well in in a handicap now after today and hopefully it's onwards and upwards.”
