The 1m2f maiden went to 1/3 favourite Stone Age who made all for a facile nine length victory.
As was the case on 2/9 chance New York City in the opener, it was all very easy for Ryan Moore on the 109-rated colt who was runner-up in a Group 1 at Saint-Cloud on his final start at two.
The Galileo colt strode away in the final quarter-mile to beat running-on newcomer Active Duty with Zoffman a further length and a half back in third.
Paddy Power make Aidan O’Brien’s winner a 33/1 chance (from 50s) for the Cazoo Derby.
Moore said: "He was very smooth today and it was nice for him to come out and do things nicely and comfortably. Hopefully he can gain a bit of confidence from this. I think he is a smart horse.
"The last time I rode him was in the Lagardere (in October) on soft ground and he didn't like it. It was nice to get him on some good ground."
When asked if he saw him as more of an Epsom or Curragh horse, he replied: "He's a good-moving horse and he doesn't have to go a mile and a half."
