Or Jaune De Somoza the 7/4 favourite, outgunned Stowaway Forever after a battle in the beginners' chase at Fairyhouse.
The seven-year-old gelding, with Rachael Blackmore in the plate, stalked My Manekineko and was almost on terms at the fourth last.
At the third last My Manekineko was less than fluent allowing Or Jaune De Somoza to assume the lead.
Stowaway Forever moved into a threatening position in second as Global rallied to close in third.
Or Jane De Somoza was ridden by Blackmore upon touching down as Stowaway Forever threw down his challenge as they raced to the final fence. Global Jackpot held every chance on the outer jumping the last but it was Or Jaune De Somoza who really knuckled down for the line and won by half a length.
Stowaway Forever was second at 2/1 with Global Jackpot the same distance away in third.
“He was a bit disappointing mid-winter but he seems good again now and he was tough there,” Henry de Bromhead said.
“We just backed off him because he ran so badly the last day. He's good now and he's a novice through the summer, so I'd presume we'll carry on with him as he likes that better ground.
“It looked a great run when he was third to Jett (at Navan) and that was probably his career high up till then but then he had a couple of disappointing runs so it's great to see him back in form.”
