The Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden went to Everlasting (9/2) who made all the running under Seamie Heffernan.

The daughter of Kingman, trained by Aidan O'Brien for the Coolmore partners, had finished in mid-division on debut at the Curragh earlier in the month and put that experience to good use to stretch clear of Kisriyra in the straight. 

A length and three quarters was the winning margin with the same gap back to the winner's stablemate Rubies Are Red in third.

Stable representative Chris Armstrong said: "It looked a good maiden on paper and there looked to be plenty of talking horses and a few had good runs. She had a run at the Curragh and the plan was to bring her here by getting another run under her belt for next year.

"She is a classy type of filly, Seamus gave her a lovely ride, she jumped and controlled it from the front. She quickened and when the Aga Khan filly came to her, she went again and will be a lovely filly for next year over 1m2f or 1m4f. 

"Running downhill on heavy ground around here will definitely stand to her and she is one to look forward to. She is a work in progress and the penny hasn't fully dropped."

Regarding third-placed Rubies And Red, a sister to Arc winner Found, he added "she has an unbelievable pedigree and Gary gave her a lovely ride. 

"He felt mentally and physically that she isn't there yet but she came home very well. Getting a run under their belts at the stage is worth half a stone the next day.

"A lot of our two-year-olds are now finished and I'd say our last meeting at Dundalk will be for the Cooley Stakes meeting. There are two two-year-old races on that card but I'm not sure we'll have anything for them."
