Doctor Duffy (10/11 favourite) was too strong for market rival First Approach as he took the bumper for Charles Byrnes and Ray Barron.
The jolly was challenged by First Approach at the business end but forged on by two and a half lengths from the well backed 11/8 chance.
Charles Byrnes said: "He travelled well and loved that ground. I doubt he'll run in another bumper and he has nearly enough done for now with five bumpers runs.
"He'll stay three miles and while he might get another run, he will be getting a break during the winter."
