Akdarena could be Epsom bound after rout
Connections will mull over a trip to Epsom with Akdarena after an impressive performance in the Blue Wind Stakes at Naas.
The Oaks could be on the agenda for the Kirsten Rausing-owned Hernando filly after a demolition job on her rivals in the Group 3 contest.
Kevin Manning soon had his mount at the head of affairs and she had a healthy advantage turning for home.
Jim Bolger 's charge kept up the gallop to the line to run out an easy seven-length winner. Indiana Gal finished well to take second.
The Epsom Oaks could be next on the agenda for the winner while the Irish Oaks is the other possibility.
"There'll be no decision this evening but she's definately in the mix," said Bolger.
"I don't do anything at home with her. She just canters and I try and make sure she is well.
"She seemed in very good form but you couldn't say she had improved until this evening and it appears she has.
"It's not often you see a race settled at halfway. The next day will be her big day."
It was a double on the card for Bolger and Manning after Radharcnafarraige claimed the opening juvenile maiden.
