The Corrib Oil Handicap Hurdle produced a third winning topweight of the afternoon as 3/1 favourite Le Hachette led before the last and went clear to score by ten lengths from Myladyrose
After Lauderdale Lady rsquo;s win in the first, the victory of the 7-year-old Yeats mare gave trainer John Ryan a 31/1 double.
The winner had won a maiden hurdle at this venue last year and had won last time out over fences at Tramore where she needed plenty of driving to come from the rear of the field.
She was able to race handily on this occasion for Danny Mullins.
Winning trainer John Ryan, leading up his winner, said: “Danny (Mullins) wouldn’t let me claim off her and she’s a right one to go and carry twelve stone like that.
“Nobody ever gave a horse of mine a better ride than Danny did on this one at Tramore.
“She’s come on from that to go and do what’s she’s done today.
“I’ve had doubles and even a treble before.”
