Tohugo relishes step up in trip
Tohugo served up a 16/1 upset in the sixth race at Fairyhouse – the mile and two handicap. Sun 14th JulHouse a handicapper paying his way
He may be just a handicapper but House Limit (first time cheek-pieces on) is paying his way and he landed his second success when coming out on top in the concluding Ratoath Handicap at Fairyhouse. Wed 05th JunCurtis at the double with Hartside
Hartside, formerly trained in England by Sir Michael Stoute, came good on his fourth outing in Ireland when coming home well clear in the mile and a half August Festival Centenary Handicap at Tramore. Mon 20th AugWindsor Pride getting the hang of things
Windsor Pride just held the late run of Maal in the Magners Light Handicap at Down Royal. Fri 27th Jul
After race at Down Royal Fri, 27th Jul, 2012 (1st)
I've been wrong with this horse. I ran him over seven furlongs last time but the key to him is that he needs to learn to settle. You won't see the best of him until he goes over hurdles. He's already schooled and he's a right jumper. The syndicate are made up of half and half Dublin and Meath. Some are happier than others this week (following last Sunday's Leinster Senior Football Final).
