Farragher keeps it "nice and simple" and Command delivers
The 75-rated Turbo Command deservedly got off the mark at the 11th time of asking in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk Apprentice Maiden. Fri 29th Jan
After race at Listowel Sat, 5th Jun, 2021 (1st)
He’s tiny and is very well named. We had considered going to the Curragh last Wednesday as he’d run well there before but a 30-runner race there takes a lot of winning and then the ground dried out. This race suited him well. We knew Kieran Cotter’s horse would go fast and that kind of set it up for us. He gets seven well and an ease in the ground suits him. He’s not a horse that will carry big weights but he’s tough. He’s not entered in the short term so we’ll give him a few weeks and anywhere there is a bit of an ease in the ground he should be effective.

After race at Leopardstown Wed, 14th Apr, 2021 (1st)
we were expecting him to run well the last day in Dundalk and he never fired. The only thing we thought was maybe go back a bit in trip. An ease in the ground certainly helped and Dylan said he liked getting his toe in. They have done a great job here with the ground; I was dreading it with the sunny day - I thought it would dry out but it’s nice and safe. He probably wouldn’t want it any quicker than this and the trip is spot on. Dylan is a great lad. He's a lovely rider and always gives very good feedback. He’s a grand tough horse and a first winner for his owner, Tommy Commins — a tree surgeon from Ardee.
