He's a real nice horse and he's obviously going the right way,. He's improved all the way through and he loves a bit of decent ground. There is a £100,00 handicap in York for him and that's probably where he'll go. I think the track will suit him. We had a discussion about whether this trip would suit him or not. I'd say a strong run mile would be perfect for him as he has the turn of foot. The race certainly wasn't run to suit him but good horses will do that.

He's a wonderful horse. We had him last year and we always loved him. He has just been a little bit frustrating, and he has done very little wrong, to be fair to him. He won first time out and then was touched off in a couple of races. His training was a little bit interrupted from silly things between ground and pulled muscles here and there. He is owned by some great people, and they are very patient and have been very good to us. We are delighted for them. He'll go on his holidays now. He deserves it as he has been on the go a while. It is a difficult thing to do, win a handicap off 98. It is a tough thing to do. He travels really well, doesn't kill himself when he gets there. I can't wait to step him up in trip. I just think if he puts himself to sleep in races, he has got a good turn of foot, and he might be difficult to beat over a mile and a-quarter. He won't go any further than that. He's just a lovely horse and I'd say he will probably end up competing in Listed and Group races.

He is lovely and we think he is a Royal Hunt Cup horse. The plan was to come here, then to the Curragh for a mile handicap on Guineas weekend and then the Hunt Cup. I really want to get him to the Hunt Cup, so we'll see. We won the race with Settle For Bay in the past and he is a very similar horse. We wanted to see what he was like on the ground today and the flat track, so has come through that well. This horse was selling (from the trainer's MRC International syndicate) but didn't pass the vetting so didn't make as much as anticipated. Niall (Molloy, owner) stepped in and bought him to keep him with us, so I'm delighted for him and his family, who have been huge supporters of ours.

He's a very good horse. He went to York and mightn't have been on the top of his game, but the ground was very firm that day and I don't know whether he wanted it that quick. I'd say it made a man of him anyway. He's improving and, with the size of him, all he's going to do is get better. My wife showed me a video of him the other day, from February of this year, and he's a completely different horse. Unfortunately, he's going to go to the sales, I'd love to keep him. He's in the October horses-in-training sale. He'll make some horse for Australia.

First run in a handicap the last day, we dropped him in and the pace was minimal to say the least. To be fair, he quickened up really well. It is lucky we see the fractions and they were pretty good from just before the turn in to half a furlong from home. . The drop back in trip didn't worry me and he's a very nice horse. I don't know how high he will go, but I'd say there is more left anyway. . It was just the bottomless ground in Tipperary. He travelled and was cantering turning in, but just couldn't get out of that ground at all. . Other than that, he has been very consistent all the way through. . He's a lovely big (The) Grey Gatsby. He's a big, genuine horse - he's huge. I'd say that is one of the main things, I'd say he is so big we probably won't see the best of him until next year, but we are here and hopefully he can win a couple for us before we let him go at the end of the year. . We had him in at Killarney just in case he absolutely bolted in. I think we'll leave him alone, but we'll see how he comes out of it. We'll plot away with him for the rest of the year.
