Skyace team win Wexford's finale
Skyace's trainer 'Shark' Hanlon and Janidil's jockey Jody McGarvey combined for further success at Wexford today as The Cool Dude landed the concluding Traynor's Of Wexford Paint Handicap Chase for the Grade 1 winning pair. Fri 09th Apr
After race at Wexford Fri, 9th Apr, 2021 (1st)
I’d say a combination of the trip and the ground (helped). He’s been running on soft ground and was just getting stuck in it and he really is a good ground horse. In such a low grade on good ground and he jumps so well — it all came together for him today. I’d a bit of an anxious moment at the last when he had a bit of a look at something but he’s done it well. He’s found his own level now and if he can stay in that grade he’ll be competitive again.
