he's had a few problems and that is why he is lightly raced. He missed Christmas but let's hope he can make up for lost time. He was rated 125 over hurdles and seems like a horse that was going to make a better chaser. He's a fine horse and there should be a bit of improvement to come from him. Fairyhouse or Punchestown could be a possibility. He's learning his trade and he learned a good bit today. He might not end at Punchestown, we might keep him on the go for a bit longer.

He always seemed like a horse that would make a better chaser than hurdler. He's taken to jumping fences well so let's hope he progresses without aiming too high. You'd be hoping that eventually he might develop into a three mile chaser. We might go up in trip to two-and-a-half miles the next day.

He’s a big horse and probably a chaser in the making. This is a bit of practice for him. He doesn’t give up too easy so I was confident going to the last that he would pull it out. Mark had said a while back on better ground there would be big improvement in this horse. He seems to manage that nicer ground.

After race at Clonmel Thu, 3rd Dec, 2020 (1st)
I felt if he got into a battle that he might come out on top because he does stay well and will get further than two miles. Nothing would be impressive on that sort of ground. We'll more than likely look for a handicap next and I don't think he wants the ground as heavy as that. This is all a bit of practice on the way to jumping fences and I think he'll be alright.
