After race at Roscommon Tue, 8th Aug, 2023 (1st)  He's a right old lad. Coming down in class and up in trip ticked all the boxes and he loves soft ground. He had come back into a little bit of placed form. The horse that was third in Killarney (Norwigi) won the race before us, so the form has stood up. He's getting old, he's 12, and I'd say this will be his last year. He's a good old servant and is the longest horse that's been in the yard. He's owned by a great bunch of owners (Well Horse Syndicate) that never hassle me. They've had loads of fund with him, he's paid them back in spades. They'll be happy men tonight, they couldn't be here but they'll be watching. E Sheehy

After race at Kilbeggan Mon, 12th Oct, 2020 (1st)  He's been a right horse this year. He got a very bad injury last year, a bad fracture at the back of his knee, and we thought he'd never race again. Then he had two bad colics in the middle of the winter and we thought we were going to lose him. He's come back from all those ailments. I don't really know what's next, I suppose he'll have to go handicap chasing. I'd say the handicapper is getting close to him. He goes on soft ground and maybe the real winter horses haven't been out yet. He's just taking on the tail end of the summer ones that won't go on that ground. Hopefully he might get another one and sure if he doesn't we've had a great year. E Sheehy

After race at Listowel Sat, 26th Sep, 2020 (1st)  His run in Wexford was a bridge too far for him and he jumped very poorly - maybe coming back from hurdles was the reason. We freshened him up since and I actually thought he'd win today to be honest. Shane (Fenelon) gets on brilliantly on him and you need to be brave on him. He could go back hurdling now from a lower mark. E Sheehy

After race at Tipperary Mon, 17th Aug, 2020 (1st)  It was a good ride from Shane, he won two point to points on him and that's why I left him on him. Shane rides out for me one day a week and is based with Shark Hanlon. He deserved to win a handicap off his mark and he goes on soft ground. He jumps Easyfix hurdles brilliantly but doesn't jump the other hurdles as well. He is a handicapper and we'll see what hurdle or chase pops up again. E Sheehy

After race at Wexford Sat, 7th Sep, 2019 (1st)  It was great to see Michael having his first winner above; he is 16, is light and I'd say he'll go well at it. He has 190 pony winners ridden and is apprenticed to Joseph O'Brien. It's been a nice day for Michael and myself and it's nice to get back into the winner's enclosure and especially with a double. Getting horses is everything and I've only a handful of horses but have a couple of nice young horses to run. This horse won two point to points but I was running him over the wrong trip. I said I'd try him over three miles after his run the last day and he did. Shane (Fenelon) is 21 and from Wicklow and that's his first racecourse winner. He has ridden two point to point winners, his first on this horse, and he rides out in Shark Hanlon's. He comes to me after dinner and is one of the hardest working young lads I know and that's why I gave him a chance. He gave him a great ride and is plucky and does what he is told. E Sheehy
