After race at Dundalk Fri, 10th Mar, 2023 (1st)
Colin is riding five for me today and before the race we were joking, saying he'd have four non-runners if this fella was beaten! I wouldn't want to lose him but this is the game we play with the claimers. We gave €20,000 for him, he is in for €20,000 and has already won €11,000 in prize money for us. He was classy for that grade and his placed handicap form was good enough to do that and he did it well. we are short on staff so if we run them up here, we are quieter at home. They are fit and well but were quiet for December and January. They seem to be coming back to form and that is three winners in the last four weeks. When they come back in form, we may as well tip away again. James Ryan and Robert Whearty come in (to ride work) but are both suspended today unfortunately and we'll support them for the rest of Dundalk.

There's not too many around like him (Colin Keane) now!. It was a pretty moderate race - look we put him in there and if he is claimed, he is claimed. We thought that was sort of his level. He has won two for us as a two-year-old, so we will leave it at that. I'd say if he is not claimed he will come back here for a claimer again. I would imagine he will be claimed because he did that quite well.

After race at Down Royal Fri, 2nd Sep, 2022 (1st)
He went a mile in Killarney which was too far and he went almost six in Navan which was too short, so we got it right in between!. Colin said he got a bit intimidated by the horse and that it wasn't until he put his whip down he ran home. He thinks he would like Dundalk and fast surfaces.
