We ran him as a bit of an experiment to see if he would get the mile-and-a-half,. He's been doing well at shorter and shows plenty of pace at home but he got the trip well and it suited him. The sire had plenty of stamina so we expected him to stay but weren't sure he would. It was a nice race to start him off at a mile-and-a-half and it worked out well. He quickened up well and loves the fast ground. He's pretty adaptable from a mile-and-a-quarter to a mile-and-a-half. It's grand, he's won three races now and has been a good horse for us. He's more settled in the hood and is not pulling. He was a bit keen at the Curragh two starts ago and we've put the hood on since then. He's doing things the right way round now. I'm not sure where he'll go yet, we'll have to see what mark he gets.

I fancied him a bit last week but he hotted up in the preliminaries. The parade ring at the Curragh with all the temporary arrangements there and the bookmakers ring close by is getting a lot of horses worked up. He was calmer today and we put a hood on him and he was much more relaxed. He was too gassy in the race last week and pulled too hard. He finished out well today. He handles the ground well, he has a fast ground action, and stays a mile and a quarter. I’m not sure he’d go any further. He’ll go for something similar.

We are very happy with him. He had two good runs at Naas on soft ground which he doesn't like so we are delighted with him. . We were waiting for good ground and this is the place to come for fast ground and he liked it and he just lobbed along in front. He was a bit idle in front but he did enough to win. . He's a nice horse and he should stay well next year. Going a bit of distance hopefully he will be a nice horse. He likes fast ground and is a horse we like. . It would have taken a good one to beat him but he had to make it there. He did it nicely. . His form was good. He had a wide draw the first time and had to come from a good bit back, and the second time he fell asleep in the stalls and was badly away and had a bit too much to do again. . They were two good runs when he was struggling in the soft. He needs a little break, he's had three runs. Hopefully he will be a nice three-year-old.
