We were on a recovery mission, we were so disappointed the last day after the Group 1. We were thinking where did we go wrong but it was just one of those things,. Even during the week his work wasn't exciting but sometimes that can be a good thing, Swamp Fox was the very same. It's a wonderful occasion and we're back in business, where he should be, and I think he's a nice horse going forward. That was a Listed race and he gave 20lb to a good filly. We'll probably travel with, we'll see how he comes out it and see what is available.

We were disappointed the last day but things didn't go right for him, he pulled too hard. We got him switched off today, he came home well and a fast pace suited him. He won like a good horse, I thought it was a good performance. That's what he was showing us when we supplemented him for the Minstrel Stakes. That's his fifth win now. There is a little bit of ease in the ground today, the day he ran in the Listed race and was running on well (fourth in the Celebration Stakes) it was good so he's versatile. He has a low action so good ground makes no difference. We'll look forward to the big meeting now, he'll go for the Dullingham Park Stakes on Irish Champions Weekend.

We're delighted with him. We had him in the Tetrarch but I thought it might be a bit too hot for him,. He got 3lb for the last day so I said we'd come here. We'll make an entry for the Jersey now, seven would be ideal. Gary said he got him out of trouble, they all got first run on him. Six, seven or a mile makes no difference to him, he's a good horse. He's very versatile, soft or good. There aren't many options before Ascot. We have a premier handicap at the Curragh but he's going to be around 105 now so I suppose we'll go Listed now, whatever is available.

After race at Gowran Park Tue, 18th Apr, 2023 (1st)
We had the Britannia in mind for him over the winter, but we might be handicapped out of it now. He’s versatile both in terms of trip and ground, and I think there is another bit of improvement in him.

After race at Curragh Sun, 25th Sep, 2022 (1st)
We thought it was a bit short for him but it was a very good performance. That qualifies him for the Final in Naas.
