the ground made the difference and I need a kick in the head because I was running him in bad ground everywhere and he couldn't handle it. He won his bumper in heavy ground at Limerick and that codded me all along - he's just a different horse on goodish ground.

He was brilliant when we schooled him. Pat Doyle had him as a point-to-pointer. We always thought a lot of him when he ran in bumpers and we were really looking forward to him last year. He won and then he got worse and worse and I don’t know why. He’s in the three-mile race at Leopardstown over Christmas and the race in Limerick so we’ll see what happens. He handled the ground but I would think he’d like it easier.

After race at Galway Sun, 25th Oct, 2020 (1st)
He’s taken a long time but he’s getting there,. He’s huge and he jumped a couple like fences but it was very hard for him to get into a rhythm jumping those type hurdles. Sean was very impressed considering the way he jumped.
Noel Meade
