Thu 21st AprBoy has local owners Laughing
Ruby Walsh expressed fears beforehand about Laughing Boy's willingness for the job and he was sent off the uneasy market leader for the M.J. Carroll Arro Maiden Hurdle at Listowel. After race at Wexford Sat, 26th Jul, 2014 (1st)
The trip suited him and he was given an excellent ride by Pat Smullen. I told Pat that if he got a tune out of him that he would probably draw. I won five races with him before he went to England and he came back to me then around four months ago and it is good to win with him again. We have no immediate plans for him just yet. He might have an entry in Galway for the mile and six handicap next Saturday. It is good to get the win in the week before Galway as I have a couple going there.
J J Lambe
After race at Listowel Sat, 18th Sep, 2010 (1st)
Ruby gave him some ride . that's why he is champion. We were afraid of the ground only for that we would have really fancied him. He is a small horse but he is a little tryer. His jumping kept him in it.
