He didn't jump as fluently as I was hoping he would but he showed a nice turn of foot. I think he is possibly Supreme Novice-bound if Simon and Isaac want to go there. I'm not sure that he stays, the couple of times we've tried him over longer trips he hasn't been up to it yet. I liked what I saw there, liked the turn of foot that he has, and he's going to make a very smart novice chaser, I think. He works very smartly at home and we just ran him over the wrong trip last year on his first run when Simon and Isaac were over in Ireland. That taught us a lesson to just keep him to the minimum trip for the time being. I think he's going to be way better over fences, he'll probably have more respect for bigger jumps because he's well able to jump.

he (Hunters yarn) got in underneath one or two but when I wanted him and I was going on a stride up the straight, he was good and got better at it. If I had done that with him the first day he'd probably have won as well. He improved from his first run but I wasn't happy with myself the first day. He's another nice one for the owners who are having a mighty time of it.

He did that nicely and he has improved the whole spring,. He's going to be a really nice prospect going hurdling next season. He jumps well, he won his point-to-point. We were going to go hurdling this season but it got a bit late and we decided to try and win a winners bumper, he's won a nice one here. We'll probably put him away now.

He has a lot of ability and it was getting late in the season to lose his novice status so Willie wanted to go back for a bumper and keep him for a novice for next year. His hurdles run the last day was a long way below his best, he must have had some setback but I don't know off the top of my head. His work is very good and that's more like it. He is definitely a graded horse and maybe he'll go for one of those good bumpers in the spring, but he could also go for a graded hurdle. If he won it, great, and if he didn't he would still be a novice for next season.
